Simon Brown is renowned interior, still life and people photographer based in London. His work is both artistic and journalistic, portraying the ‘Human Interior’, often romanticised and bathed by atmospheric daylight. The use of North Light, favoured by painters of old, is a particular ingredient in his photographs.

For over thirty years his work has been published in books and magazines and his personal work is represented by the Benrubi Gallery in New York. Largely self-taught he attended The Medway College of Design, before staring his career at a photographic studio in Chelsea, London in 1983.

Having been published in early editions of ID magazine, his work was taken up by The World of Interiors, Vanity Fair, House & Garden Magazine, Architectural Digest, The Saturday Telegraph and Vogue.
